Arcs and Reviews

I just finished reading California Bones and WOW what a book. I really loved it and it was the prefect foil for the 1600 pages of Joe Abercrombie I just read by doing the First Law series in a month. I've submitted my review for that one to Fantasy Faction as they have not reviewed it before and I always enjoy getting authors the biggest audience possible if I can.

I got some fabulous gifts this week from Head of Zeus publishing over in the UK. I was lucky enough to get a Hardcover of Sword of the North by Luke Scull which I fucking cannot wait to get into. The cover is awesome and despite it being out on ebook I wanted to wait for this to be in my hands before succuming to temptation. I was also able to get Master of War by David Gilman and Kohima by Arthur Swinson which are fantasy and military non fiction respectively.
